Day 60: A Longer Purple Dress

Even though I didn't have Maryland crabs this summer, I had the most delightful dining experience on Sunday. Rebecca has always talked about taking Dave and me to Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore, but we didn't make it there until this weekend. Rebecca and Dan were in Minnesota, but we went to brunch with Dave's parents, and what a brunch it was. So charming, so fresh, and so memorable. The attire there is "casual elegant", which sounds like my favorite kind of category, but I didn't prepare adequately for it as I packed, which means that I stopped for this maxi-dress on the way to brunch.  Not to be confused with this purple dress, today's has a pretty lace overlay on the back, which I'll have to show you another day.  These pictures were taken outside of the restaurant.

  1. Zack here, logged in as Laura again. I'm sorry to be such a fashion clueless guy, but I love the backgrounds in these photos! The industrial wood and steel look really cool!

  2. You would totally love the vibe (and food and drinks!) at this restaurant. And that goes for Zack and Laura! Take a look at some of the pictures on the website. It's like Talula's Garden meets a barn meets a well-curated and clean antique store.
