My mom made this dress right around the time she married my dad. She gave it to me a few years ago but I wondered if it was too quirky for me to wear. Besides, someone in Bermuda told her it was too low-cut when she wore it on her honeymoon. But I've worn it three times now, including on my honeymoon, and I am very happy to have it. And not just because I saw a similar dress at H&M recently. Today it was perfect for eating red velvet waffles and going thrift shopping.
